Our teachers know their students and work with them to help them realise their potential as learners. Our focus on authentic learning and authentic assessment ensures that we challenge our students to grow in their learning and achieve their personal best.

Throughout our community of Sydney Catholic schools, we have shown high performance of our students in measures such as NAPLAN and the HSC.

Academically, St. Therese’s Catholic Primary School Denistone, as part of an independent analysis of NAPLAN results between 2014-2018, has been identified in the top five schools demonstrating improved growth across the Northern Sydney Region. Significant routines and strategies, especially in the early years of schooling, where identification and intervention are so critical, have been developed and implemented according to each student’s learning strengths and needs.

Opportunities exist for all students to shine and demonstrate success, internally and across the local community. Differentiated learning, leadership development,  subject-specific extension/enrichment groups,  representative sport, creative arts – including dance competitions, chess are encouraged and promoted.
